Rajesh is currently a freelance performance engineering advisor for IT companies. His role involves reviewing architectures for large systems, helping companies setup performance engineering groups, and training in performance engineering.
Until 2011, Rajesh was with Tata Consultancy Services as Chief Scientist and Vice President Performance Engineering. While at TCS he was involved in performance engineering of many systems of national interest.
Rajesh has an MS and PhD in Computer Science from University of Wisconsin Madison, and a B-Tech in Computer Science & Engg from IIT-Bombay.
Abhay Pendse is Head of the Performance Engineering practice at Persistent since 2012. He has had extensive experience in core technology companies in various roles from developer to senior leadership.
Prior to joining Persistent, Abhay established India vertical for SunGard Availability Services contributing to software product development, testing and product support. Prior to SunGard, Abhay worked for 12+ years in Silicon valley companies including Hewlett-Packard and valley startups. Abhay started his career in Tata Consultancy Services in 1992 where he worked on performance engineering of systems with high volume transactions, and complex trading algorithms for stock exchanges in India and US.
Abhay holds M.Tech degree from IIT Delhi and a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from College of Engineering Pune (COEP).
Milind is currently the Head of Application Engineering teams in Enterprise, High Performance Computing and Mobility for APAC since 2008. He has been with Intel since 2001 in various roles. Until 2007, Milind was part of Intel onsite team at Microsoft, Redmond in improvements in the quality and performance of three generations of the Microsoft® .NET Framework for Intel Architecture. Before that he was part of onsite team in validating compilers and enabling for Intel® Architecture. He has great expertise about performance analysis methodologies and benchmarking.
Milind has degree BE in Computer Science & Engg from SDM College of Engineering, Dharwad.
Babu Mahadevan is currently working as Technical Marketing Engineer in Cisco UCS solutions and Performance group. His responsibility includes architecting enterprise solutions such as Oracle Applications, SAP HANA etc… and developing capacity planning tools for Cisco UCS. He is also actively involved in commercial products benchmarking activities on Cisco UCS.
Babu has worked on all phases of performance engineering life cycle, across Finance, Telecom and Retail industry verticals while he spent 13+ years with TCS. He areas of expertise includes performance test architecture/execution and performance monitoring.
Babu Mahadevan holds ME in Electronics & Communication Engg from College of Engineering, Anna University with BE (AMIE) from The Institution of Engineers (India), Kolkata.
Performance Engineering Certification
Bala Prasad Peddigari (Bala) is working with Tata Consultancy Services Limited for over 15 years. Bala practices enterprise architecture and evangelizes platform solutions, performance and scalable architectures and Cloud technology initiatives within TCS and heads the Technology Excellence Group for HiTech Vertical. Bala drives the architecture and technology community initiatives within TCS through coaching, mentoring and grooming techniques.
Bala has done his Masters in Computer Applications from University College of Engineering, Osmania, where he was University First. Bala is Open Group Master IT Certified Architect and serving as a Board Member in Open Group Certifying Authority. He received accolades for his cloud architectural strengths and published his papers in IEEE and regular speaker in Open Group conference and technology events. Bala is a Working Group member in Open Group for Cloud and Open Platform 3 working Groups.
B Gopal is currently VP Systems Integration at TCS. He is also on the Board of Nelco and TBSS.
Gopal started his career with TCS in 1974 and has been in the areas of System Support, System Architecting and System Selection. He has been involved in most of the large SI projects done by TCS since 1993. His role involves reviewing architectures for large systems, and arriving at optimal Deployment Architectures.
Gopal is a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering(Electronics) from IIT Madras, 1974.
Manoj Nambiar is currently working with TCS as a Principal Scientist, heading the Performance Engineering Research Center (PERC). He also leads the Parallelization and Optimization Centre of excellence as a part of the company’s HPC Initiative. Until 2011, Manoj has been working as a research lead in High Performance Messaging, Networking and Operating Systems in PERC. Prior to this has executed several consulting assignments in the performance engineering area specializing in network and systems performance.
Manoj has a B.E from the University of Bombay, and a post graduate diploma in VLSI design from C-DAC, India.

Vadiraja Bhatt (firstname.lastname@example.org) is currently working as Performance Architect in Cisco working for UCS solutions and performance group. His responsibility includes architecting enterprise application solutions on Unified Computing System platform , developing best practice guides, solution guides and benchmarking the UCS system.
Vadi has extensive experience in Database performance engineering. His prior experience was with Sybase Inc where he worked for 14 years on OLTP and DSS database system , architecting features like Distributed Cache manager , scalable kernel and i/o subsystem, Query optimization to name a few. He has registered 6 patents to his credit in these areas. He has worked extensively with TPC , an industry standard benchmarking committee. Vadi has M-Tech in Computer Science & Engg from IIT-Bombay and B-Tech from Mangalore University.
